The Role
This is a senior, hands-on opportunity for an experienced Procurement & Logistics Specialist to take ownership of international sourcing, supplier management, and end-to-end supply chain coordination.
Working closely with leadership and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in supply planning, procurement strategy, and logistics execution, ensuring continuity of supply, cost efficiency, and high service levels for customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead international procurement activities across multiple sourcing regions
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with overseas suppliers
- Supplier contracts, accreditations, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate international freight, shipping providers, and logistics partners
- Manage container planning, consolidation, and delivery schedules
- Monitor and optimise supply chain timelines to meet demand forecasts
- Act as a senior point of contact for key customers and projects
- Oversee project timelines from purchase order through to delivery
- Ensure accuracy of product data, specifications, and pricing
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes
- Provide guidance and support to team members as required
About You
To succeed in this senior role, you will bring strong commercial awareness and proven experience in international procurement and logistics, ideally within a regulated or import-driven environment.
You will also have:- Significant experience working with overseas suppliers and freight providers
- Strong planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and costings
- The ability to make informed decisions in time-sensitive situations
- A proactive, accountable, and professional working style
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI
