About Flooring Design
Flooring Design is a proudly New Zealand-owned flooring franchise group that has been operating for over 23 years. From our head office in Napier, we support a nationwide network of franchisees with strong systems, hands-on support, and a genuine team-first approach.
One of our longest-serving team members, who has been with us for 23 years, is heading toward a well-earned retirement. While we're sad to see her go, it's also something we're incredibly proud of - it reflects a workplace culture where people feel supported, valued, and happy to stay long-term.
We're now looking for the next person to join that culture.
The Role
This is a key support role within our head office team, providing bookkeeping and accounts administration support to our franchisees. You'll be working across multiple businesses, within established systems, and alongside a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and mutual support.
Full training will be provided on our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts payable and general accounts administration
- Payroll processing and payroll support
- GST preparation and filing
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- General bookkeeping
- Supporting franchisees with day-to-day accounting and system queries
- Working within documented systems to ensure consistency and compliance
About You

Skills & Experience
Essential:- Experience using Xero
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals
Bonus (but not required):- Experience with Tradify
- Experience with RFMS or similar retail/ERP systems
If you don't have experience with some of our systems, that's absolutely fine - full training will be provided.
