Role Overview
We're looking for a motivated team member to join our Property Management team and oversee a portfolio of residential properties. Experience is welcomed but not essential. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants while ensuring properties are managed efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard. There is also opportunity to take on business development initiatives and grow the property portfolio as the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Conduct regular property inspections and report findings
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with approved contractors
- Manage rent collection, arrears, and bond processes
- Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with legislation
- Handle tenant queries, complaints, and dispute resolution professionally
- Market properties and manage viewings and tenant selection
- Maintain accurate property records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and Healthy Homes Standards
Attributes:- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- A high level of personal presentation and professionalism
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Willingness to learn and follow legislation and procedures
- A full NZ driver's licence
This is a full time, permanent position, therefore you must be committed to living in Queenstown long-term.
