Seatbelts4U is a specialist automotive safety business that has been operating since 1988. We focus exclusively on seatbelt repair, replacement, and certification for a wide range of vehicles.
Due to continued demand, we are looking for a reliable and practical Seatbelt Technician / Fitter to join our team.
About the role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining workshop, vehicle and office-based duties. Full training will be provided.
Your responsibilities will include:- Removing and refitting seatbelts in vehicles
- Replacing seatbelt webbing and components
- Producing labels and testing certificates
- Completing job paperwork and maintaining job databases
- Answering phones and dealing with customers in person and over the phone
- Arranging couriers and managing incoming/outgoing jobs
- General workshop and office support tasks
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:- A full driver's licence
- Practical mechanical or hands-on technical skills
- An interest in motor vehicles
- The ability to learn quickly and follow procedures accurately
- Competent computer skills and confidence using databases
- Good spoken and written English
- A professional, friendly manner with customers
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Reliability, punctuality, and a team-focused attitude
What we offer:- $35-$40 per hour, based on experience
