    • We're growing and looking to add two new team members to our Hunting & Fishing Taupo store. If you're passionate about the outdoors and enjoy helping customers find the right gear, we'd love to hear from you.

    Senior Sales Team Member (Full-Time)

    This role is ideal for an experienced retail professional with strong product knowledge across both hunting and fishing. You'll be a go-to person on the shop floor, confidently assisting customers, sharing product expertise and supporting the wider team.

    Ideally, you'll bring hands-on experience with firearms, optics, hunting and fishing gear - however, we understand this is a rare combination. If your knowledge is stronger in one category than the other, but you're keen to learn and grow, we're still very interested in hearing from you.

    You'll take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining high presentation standards and helping customers feel confident in their purchases.

    Sales & Inwards Goods (Hybrid Role - Full-Time)

    This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys both customer-facing sales and behind-the-scenes store operations.

    You'll spend two days per week working in inwards goods / storeperson duties, including receiving stock, processing deliveries and keeping inventory organised. The remaining three days per week will be spent on the shop floor, assisting customers with sales and product enquiries.

    This role suits someone practical, organised and reliable, who enjoys variety and being involved in all aspects of a busy retail environment.

    For either role, we're looking for people who:
    • Have experience in retail or customer service
    • Have a genuine interest in hunting, fishing, camping or the outdoors
    • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers
    • Are well organised, proactive and responsible
    • Have good computer skills and attention to detail
    • Present themselves professionally and take pride in their work
    A current firearms licence is a strong advantage for both roles, but not essential.

    As we're a 7-day business, availability to work weekends and public holidays is required. Rosters are released one month in advance, giving you plenty of notice.
