    We are now seeking a Workshop & Customer Support Coordinator to support our Avondale & Henderson teams and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop.

    About the Role

    This is a key support role that sits between customers, technicians, suppliers, and management. You'll be responsible for front-of-house customer care located at KAAR Avondale while also assisting with parts sourcing, quoting support, vehicle logistics, and site organisation.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in organisation, and likes being part of a busy, professional team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Reception & Communication:
    • Greet customers in person and answer incoming calls
    • Be the first point of contact for enquiries and bookings
    • Liaise with customers regarding repairs, approvals, and timelines
    • Maintain KAAR's high standard of customer service
    Quoting, Estimating & Administration:
    • Assist with preparing service and repair quotes
    • Follow up approvals and update job statuses
    • Maintain accurate job records and documentation
    • Support workshop management with general administration
    Parts & Materials Coordination:
    • Source, price, and order parts required for repairs
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
    • Track and follow up parts orders
    • Allocate parts to the correct jobs
    Loan Vehicle Management:
    • Manage loan vehicle bookings and availability
    • Maintain loan vehicle diary and records
    • Carry out condition checks before and after use
    • Arrange cleaning of loan vehicles when required
    • Ensure vehicles are presented to KAAR standards
    Vehicle Logistics & Carpark Management:
    • Pick up and deliver customer vehicles as required
    • Move vehicles safely in and around the site
    • Manage carpark space efficiently
    • Ensure vehicles are correctly tagged and stored
    Skills & Experience

    Essential:
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic computer skills
    • Full, clean NZ driver licence
    Desirable (but not essential):
    • Automotive or service industry experience
    • Familiarity with vehicle parts and repair processes
    • Experience assisting with quotes or estimates

    This is a Full time position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
