Are you a seasoned Oncology / Haematology nurse looking for a new challenge, or an experienced nurse wanting to learn and work with a dynamic team of Oncology professionals?
The successful candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and be committed to delivering warm, professional, supportive patient and family/whanau care. You must have an interest and want to learn to deliver best care in an oncology setting. This is a multi-site role.
You also must have a current New Zealand Nursing Council registration and practicing certificate.
Our ideal candidates may have:- A positive and warm nursing style
- 3-4 years nursing experience,
- Oncology, ED or ICU experience desirable.
- Confidence and clear communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent assessment skills
- Skilled in patient and family engagement
- Professionalism
- Clinical Trials Experience
Duties include but are not limited to:- Administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy
- Assisting with delivery of Clinical Trials treatment and care under supervision of the clinical trials team
- Providing exceptional patient care
- Managing treatment safety, quality and risk
- Engaging with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to work across two sites Newmarket and Wairau.
