    • At Plucks Engineering we manufacture, install, service and repair a large range of products, specialising in our own developed farm machinery e.g. heavy rollers and dairy effluent systems and equipment sold through NZ.

    We are seeking an experienced Tradesperson, Welder / Fabricator to join our team. In this position, you will manufacture and assemble new equipment in our workshop and carry out general repairs and maintenance in the field from time to time.

    Essential attributes for success in this position include:
    • Strong mechanical mind and practical ability, with excellent welding-skills and ability to read technical drawings
    • Solid previous working experience in steel welding, fabrications and repairs, preferably in the agricultural industry
    • Full drivers licence and forklift endorsement would be an advantage
    • Physical fitness and agility, and capable or heavy-lifting
    • Flexibility to work extra hours as required to get the job done
    • Good communication skills and a team player
