Forever Green Ltd has been creating quality landscapes throughout the Canterbury region since 1987, giving us nearly 38 years of industry experience.
We are currently seeking a Skilled / Qualified Landscape Worker to join our Christchurch-based team.
At Forever Green, our scope of works includes earthmoving, site works, and both hard and soft landscaping. This role will see you working closely with our experienced teams across a wide range of projects, delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual with proven experience in hard landscaping and the ability to lead a crew on site. You will be confident taking charge of daily tasks, coordinating team members, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong hands-on experience in hardscape construction and the ability to read and interpret plans, set out works, and work unsupervised when required.
Level 3 or 4 certification in Landscape Construction is most desirable.
What is required for the role:- Proven experience in hard landscaping / hardscape construction
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines
- Competency in hard landscaping activities including paving, concrete work, retaining walls, carpentry, and related construction works
- Strong customer focus and professional presentation on site
- Competence using a wide range of plant, tools, and equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- A conscientious, proactive approach to health and safety with up-to-date knowledge of safe work practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- A good level of physical fitness
- Class 2 licence would be beneficial
