About the Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Account Manager with strong design capability to join our team in Albany, Auckland. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of client management and creative development, using their retail design expertise to support key clients and deliver exceptional project outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing:- Interpreting client briefs and transforming them into clear, compelling conceptual designs
- Developing and presenting innovative design solutions across a diverse range of clients and
projects - Producing engaging visual concepts, layouts, and presentations for client approval
- Collaborating closely with our in-house team to turn concepts into detailed production drawings
- Ensuring all design work aligns with each client's brief, brand, and budget
- Managing project timeframes, budgets, invoicing, and overall account delivery
- Overseeing multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously with accuracy and professionalism
What We Are Looking For:- A strong background in Retail Design
- Proven Key Account Management experience, ideally with high-end or premium clients
- Availability to work up to 50 hours per week when required
- A qualification in Industrial Design, Spatial/Interior Design, or equivalent retail design experience
- A track record of success in both design and account management roles
- A driven, well-presented, organised, and team-focused individual
- Experience in the shop-fitout industry is highly beneficial
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients at once
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SketchUp, Vectorworks, Rhino)
- Competency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator)
