    We're looking for a Retail Salesperson with strong hunting or fishing knowledge to join our energetic team. Whether you're an experienced retail professional or a keen angler ready to step into retail, this role offers excellent opportunities for growth and development in a supportive, passionate environment.

    What We're Looking For:
    • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not essential
    • A genuine passion for hunting or fishing and the outdoors
    • Friendly, confident communication skills with the ability to give clear, helpful advice
    • Professionalism, punctuality, and a proactive attitude
    • Good computer skills and willingness to learn our systems (AR POS and CRM)
    • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a busy retail environment
    • Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays (our busiest days)
    Fishing Specialist - In this role, you'll deliver outstanding customer service with a strong focus on our fishing department, helping customers select the right gear for their needs and sharing your practical knowledge and experience. You'll build strong product knowledge, support general retail sales across the store, and use our retail and CRM systems confidently. A firearms licence is preferred as you'll assist in our Hunting department when required.

    Hunting Specialist:
    • Current valid Firearms Licence
    • A passion to get out there putting lead in the air
    • Open to learning all about new hunting technologies like Thermal Imaging, Night Vision or new calibres and ballistics.
    • Being open to using these products so you can talk the talk to customers

    This is a full-time role working five days per week, including Fridays and Saturdays, with one rostered weekday off plus Sunday. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Fridays from 8.00am to 5.30pm, and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2.30pm (extended to 4.00pm during December).
