Forever Green Ltd, has been creating gardens in the Canterbury region since 1987 giving us over 34 years in the industry. We are involved in earthmoving, siteworks, hard and soft landscaping.
We are currently looking for a Truck Driver to join our Christchurch based team.
The role is approximately 50% truck driving and 50% labouring duties, offering a nice balance between the two. Previous experience as a digger or machine operator is highly desirable, as you will be required to operate a digger or loader and safely load and unload machinery onto trucks.
As well as the Class 2 licence, our successful applicant will have the following:- Excellent physical fitness as this is a physically demanding role
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to approach every challenge with a positive attitude
- A fantastic work ethic, with an enthusiastic attitude
- Good knowledge of the area
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
- A conscientious, proactive approach towards health and safety and good up to date knowledge of safety practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test/alcohol test
