We produce quality machined components for several internationally recognised OEMs, support various industries' repair & maintenance requirements and undertake a wide variety of jobbing and manufacturing work.

    Our workload has been steadily increasing, and as a result we are seeking an Experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team.

    This role will involve programming and setting up jobs, continuously checking product quality and accuracy, and producing high quality components. We will be providing some training, but we will expect you to be able to use your background in the industry to work effectively and contribute to our team.

    We need someone with the expertise to manage intricate tasks autonomously, so this is not an ideal role for someone looking for an operator role.
     
    You will also need to demonstrate:
    • Competence in CNC machine tool operation including monitoring of part dimensions using measuring equipment (micrometers & calipers) and making tool offsets and adjustments accordingly, with experience with both milling & turning.
    • Knowledgeable in live tooling and various tooling systems
    • Experience with one or more of the following operating systems; Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol or Okuma. Familiarity with Fusion 360 is a plus
    • Self motivated and the ability to work on jobs with minimal supervision.
    • Team and learning orientated.
    • Quality focused with good attention to detail.
    • Positive attitude and respectful to others.
    • The ability to interpret engineering drawings.
    • Confident using hand tools including de-burring blades.
    • A clean and tidy person who works well with others.
    • Must currently reside in New Zealand
