Our teams work across dairy, petrochemical, power generation, and manufacturing sectors.
About the Role:
Due to growth in our insulation and cladding division, we now require an Industrial Cladding & Insulation Technician to join the team based in Taranaki.
You'll be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of thermal insulation and industrial sheet-metal cladding across various client sites.
This will include:- Installing, removing, and maintaining hot and cold insulation systems
- Fabricating and fitting cladding (stainless, aluminium, galvanised, etc.)
- Working safely and following all Dynamech and client procedures
- Assisting with shutdowns, maintenance, upgrades, and project delivery
- Representing Dynamech professionally on all sites
This is a full-time role with variable hours depending on project schedules, including occasional shutdown and weekend work.
About You:
You'll be practical, reliable, and take pride in producing clean, durable insulation and cladding work. You'll need to understand the importance of safety, communication, and professionalism when working on high-risk sites.
Ideally, you have:- Experience in industrial insulation and/or metal cladding (or similar trade background)
- Skill with sheet metal, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
- Strong awareness of safe work practices
- Ability to read drawings, instructions, and job specifications
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Full, clean NZ driver licence
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check
- Willingness to participate in random drug & alcohol screening
- High levels of physical fitness and be comfortable working in industrial environments
