We require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in February 2026.
About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, duties include:- Prepare roofing estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions.
- Analyse plans/specs and source material pricing from suppliers.
- Manage contracts, budgets, progress claims, and variations.
- Track project costs and prepare financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with NZ building standards and documentation requirements.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and site teams throughout the project.
About you
To be considered you will need to have a New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying) (NZQF Level 6) and previous construction experience.
You'll also demonstrate:- QS or construction estimating experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Practical, with good understanding of roofing or waterproofing methods.
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing budgets, variations, and deadlines.
- A strong communicator and team player who's motivated to grow with the company.
