Anvil Engineers, based in Oamaru, is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator / Welder to join our small but busy team.

We offer a friendly work environment, varied tasks, and the chance to grow your skills across a wide range of engineering work.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who is practical, positive, and ready to get stuck in.

The ideal applicant will have:

MIG, TIG & ARC welding skills
Welding certification (advantageous but not essential)
Experience with stainless steel and alloy welding
Forklift licence (desirable)
Clean, full driver's licence (essential)
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Good level of physical fitness
Strong communication and customer-service skills

About the Role

You'll be involved in a variety of General Engineering tasks including:

Repairs and maintenance
Welding and fabrication
Machining
On-site and workshop-based work

No two days are the same - variety is guaranteed!

This is a full time Monday - Friday role with flexible start/finish times available for the right applicant.
