    • Toyworld Henderson - your local one-stop toy destination - is looking for a Full-Time Retail Sales Assistant to join our fun and energetic team!

    Toyworld is the largest network of independently owned toy stores in Australia and New Zealand, offering a wide range of toys, games, hobbies, and collectibles from leading brands like LEGO and Fisher-Price. Each store is a local, community-focused business providing expert advice, service, and tailored recommendations to customers of all ages.

    Purpose of position

    This role forms a key part of the store operations and customer experience. The role is responsible for supporting the store manager/assistant manager in the full operation of the store whilst operating in a proactive manner. When the store manager and assistant manager are not present the key holder is responsible for the in-store operations.

    This is a Full-Time role (30-35 hours per week) paying $23.50 - $25 per hour.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring every customer leaves happy
    • Assisting with sales, product advice, and upselling where possible
    • Merchandising, restocking shelves, and maintaining store presentation
    • Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately
    • Helping with laybys, promotions, and special orders
    • Being part of a supportive team environment where no two days are the same!
    What we're looking for:
    • Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential - training provided)
    • Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable personality
    • A genuine passion for toys, games, and collectibles
    • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
    • Ability to work weekends and during busy retail seasons (especially Christmas)
