AHS Group is a well-established construction company servicing the greater Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. While our specialty lies in the private medical sector, we maintain a diverse portfolio across residential developments, renovations, and large-scale commercial projects.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we're expanding our team and looking for a skilled Qualified Carpenter to join us.
We're after a motivated, detail-focused carpenter who takes pride in their craft. You'll work across a mix of new builds, renovations, extensions, and commercial fit-outs. No two days will look the same - this role offers variety, stability, and the chance to work within a supportive, professional team.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out all aspects of carpentry, from framing through to finishing
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and site managers
What we're looking for:- Trade Qualified Carpenter (LBP beneficial but not required)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in residential and/or commercial building
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and health & safety standards
