Connexionz Limited (NZX:CNX) is a publicly listed technology company delivering world-class Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for the global public transport sector. With operations across New Zealand and the US, we are trusted by a loyal international customer base.
We're looking for a talented, proactive, and quality-focused QA & Test Analyst to join our Christchurch-based team.
In this role, you'll design, implement and own Connexionz testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring Connexionz' product quality is of the highest standards.
What you'll be doing:- Ensure software quality excellence by thorough and complete testing of new features and updates before release.
- Specify standards, methods, and procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
- Develop and maintain detailed and well-structured, project aligned, test plans.
- Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases for cloud, mobile, and hardware integrated systems.
- Implement testing process across databases, endpoints, product use scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, bug retests, or usability.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects early in the development cycle.
- Design or develop automated testing tools, with a focus on automating test plans.
- Investigate customer issues when requested.
- Develop and maintain User Acceptance Testing plans.
- Evaluate and recommend software for testing.
What we're looking for:- A relevant tertiary degree.
- 5+ years' experience as a Test Analyst.
- Hands-on experience testing IoT, web, and mobile applications (iOS, Android).
- Experience in developing web and API test automation
- Strong technical capability, including experience with DevOps, C#, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and Bash scripting.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Good working knowledge of TestRail.
- Familiarity with MS Office 365, Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA (highly desirable)
