We seek a positive, motivated person to provide sales and technical support to our client base in Southland, working both independently and in close liaison with our team of technical consultants.
Being conversant and passionate about dairy farming is a requirement. Your desire to make a difference in the dairy sector and work closely with farmers to improve results is as important as the experience and knowledge you will bring to the role.
You will be the primary contact for some customers and the secondary contact for others (where one of our technical consultants is the primary contact). Your focus will be building relationships, establishing if what we do is of interest to them and where we can make a difference to their farm's performance.
You will be responsible for administrative tasks such as account application forms, following up product delivery and usage/requirements, checking on results, taking forward orders as part of annual plans.
You must be someone who loves connecting and building relationships and be innately driven to care for and make a difference to others. You will need to embrace tight accountabilities, not be phased by doing everything thoroughly, deal well with busy customers, and enjoy unending opportunity!
You will be part of a focused and positive team that supports individual growth. Training and technical support will be provided.
We're looking for someone who is has an affinity with farmers, a forthright yet comfortable manner, and a natural sense of humour.
