    About the Role

    Are you passionate about quality and driven by customer satisfaction?

    We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our dynamic team and help us deliver excellence every step of the way.

    You'll be working alongside our Quality Lead to keep production running smoothly and ensure every part meets customer specifications. The role involves operating our Aberlink CMM, performing in-process and final inspections, and supporting continuous-improvement initiatives across the workshop.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operating the CMM (Aberlink Zenith 3) and interpreting measurement results
    • Carrying out dimensional and visual checks on machined components
    • Assisting with calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and gauges
    • Completing inspection reports, traceability records, and non-conformance logs
    • Supporting machinists with in-process quality checks and first-off inspections
    About You

    You'll be someone who enjoys precision work and takes pride in doing things right the first time. Ideally, you'll have:
    • Experience in CNC machining, quality control, or metrology (preferred).
    • Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances, with previous experience in the engineering or metals-manufacturing industries preferred.
    • Competence using verniers, micrometers, and other hand-measuring tools
    • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
    • Willingness to learn and contribute to a small, collaborative team
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • A proactive mindset with a passion for customer satisfaction.
    Training will be provided on our CMM and internal quality systems.
