We're now seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to take the lead and drive our electrical team into the new year.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading a small team of wirers within our busy tow bar business, ensuring high-quality installations and continuous improvement in our processes. This hands-on leadership role involves both technical work and team management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support a small team of auto-electrical wirers
- Oversee and complete wiring installations for both new and second-hand vehicles - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and European models
- Source towing wiring solutions for new vehicle models
- Work with local and international suppliers to order high-quality electrical components
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and technical issues
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the wiring team
- Implement continuous improvement and quality assurance strategies
- Maintain and update the company's vehicle wiring module database
About You:- Qualified Auto Electrician with proven hands-on experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Organised and proactive with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Comfortable with supplier communication and small-scale ordering
