We're looking for an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our hardworking team in Mount Maunganui.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy plant and machinery, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role is hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in their workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
About You:- Prefer a trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Proven experience working on a range of heavy machinery
- Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
