About the Role
This is a pivotal, broad-based leadership role responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources, and People & Culture management across all sites.
You'll partner closely with senior leaders to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that drive engagement, performance, and organisational success. The role is both strategic and hands-on, covering everything from developing HR strategy and policy to managing key employee relations, compliance, and wellbeing initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:- Develop and deliver the Group's HR and People Strategy aligned to business goals
- Partner with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to drive culture, engagement, and capability initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes
- Lead performance management, learning and development, and succession planning frameworks
- Provide trusted HR advice and coaching to managers across multiple branches
- Ensure compliance with NZ employment law and proactively manage employment risks
- Lead organisational development, change management, and culture enhancement initiatives
- Contribute to strategic planning and business improvement as part of the senior leadership team
About You
You're an experienced HR professional with a proven ability to influence at all levels and manage a wide portfolio of responsibilities. You thrive in dynamic environments, can juggle competing priorities, and have a passion for building great workplace culture.
You will bring::- 3+ years' senior HR leadership experience (multi-site or group environment ideal)
- Strong understanding of NZ employment law, HR systems, and best practice
- Demonstrated success leading engagement, culture, and change initiatives
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, commercial mindset with genuine care for people and culture
