We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Administration Assistant to support our People and Compliance Lead. This is a full time seasonal role with an immediate start until the end of February, 2026.
This position ensures smooth onboarding, compliance with employment procedures, and effective communication between staff and management. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR-related functions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate recruitment approvals for various orchard roles including pickers, supervisors, and quality controllers.
- Ensure employment documentation and job descriptions are completed prior to commencement.
- Facilitate staff inductions and safety briefings in collaboration with management.
- Manage staff communications regarding schedules, updates, and operational changes.
- Oversee timesheet processes and support supervisors with digital tools for workforce tracking.
- Maintain accurate records related to staff equipment, attendance, and compliance.
- Support accommodation and transport arrangements for seasonal staff as needed.
- Monitor and respond to staff concerns, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Maintain supplies and resources for orchard workers to support health and hygiene standards.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, record keeping, and responding to staff queries.
- Assist with other HR-related tasks as directed by management.
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual who is practical solutions focused. Previous experience in HR / Admin is preferred.
