We have an excellent opportunity to join our team on the North Shore, Auckland.
About the Role
We're searching for a hands-on CNC Manager to lead our team of CNC operators in our CNC machining department.
With a fleet of CNC machines, being loaded by two fully-automated board storage systems, our factory is a fast-paced working environment! The family business is leading the industry, with innovative products & automated factory.
You'll be working directly on the machines alongside the CNC operators to maximise efficiency & output, liaising with other department managers (edging, thermoform, sanding & packing) to ensure their needs are met, and effective workflow across departments.
You will be physically fit, as this is an active role that requires constant lifting.
You won't necessarily have any industry experience - we're happy to train the right candidate for this role. Nevertheless, regardless of your previous industry experience, you'll be motivated and driven to be a strong team player & lead a team to success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead CNC team to achieve production targets
- Monitor and optimise CNC machine performance, ensuring efficient output
- Maintain quality control and safety standards
- Maximising output and minimise downtime
- Planning effective daily work-schedule, alongside the factory manager
About you, you'll be/have:- Physically fit, as this is an active role that requires constant lifting
- Proven experience managing or supervising a production team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Ability to learn how to troubleshoot and find solutions
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development
