We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Pukekohe.
About Us:
Furtex is a New Zealand family-owned business. We have been sourcing, designing, manufacturing, and innovating textile products for over 80 years. Today the family legacy continues, four generations on, to provide discerning clients with outstanding interior furnishings and customer service to match. We design and develop our products from our hometown in Pukekohe, New Zealand. The products we store in our warehouse range from cushions/covers, throws, rugs and rug samples.
About the Role:
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods through receiving, storage, and dispatch. This is a hands-on role that combines physical warehouse work with key administrative duties.
Requirements:- 3+ years' experience in warehouse operations, including export dispatch or logistics coordination.
- Proven ability to lead small teams in a hands-on environment.
- Experience preparing export or freight documentation.
- Forklift licence and understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
