I'm Tim, I run a product studio called Launch Agent.
We build and grow amazing internet companies like thieve.co (500k members), deathtostock.com (800k members), predictwind.com (1.6m members).
I'm looking for a Founding Engineer (human only please) to join me and a small team who work on launching and growing our own in house products.
As a founding engineer you will have a key role in helping to develop and grow products. Our current focus is saasco.com - an all in one marketing platform for saas companies.
This is not your average engineer role, you'll be deep in owning a product from the early stages and we'll work closely to define the roadmap, ship features and make tech decisions.
What you'll do:- Build end-to-end features across our stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel, MySQL/PlanetScale, Tinybird, Inngest and Resend)
- Take MVPs and make them production-ready, reliable, performant, and scalable.
- Work closely on technical direction, product priorities, and roadmap planning.
- Track system health, monitor Sentry, and make sure the product runs smoothly day to day.
- Improve the developer experience, help us automate and accelerate shipping using agent assisted coding (we love Cursor and hate ai slop).
- Balance speed and quality to make sure we move fast reliably.
- Refactor and evolve the codebase as we grow, keeping it clean and maintainable.
- Stay current with the latest AI tooling and development practices to help us move rapidly.
We work from a really beautiful office in Parnell with an incredible team who have a lot of fun.
