What are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced powdercoater who is motivated, reliable, and an energetic person to join our growing team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:- Prepare components for jigging / coating
- Follow all principles and practices for powder coating application
- OPerate and maintain spray guns, equipment and systems
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
- Determine powder coating quality by performing visual inspections and micron testing
- Bake components at appropriate oven temperatures within time limits
- Ensure all components are coated efficiently and are consistent with company goals for quality and customer order on time performance
- Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times
- Loading and unloading trolleys
- Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Stock level of powder to be maintained
- Clean booth between colour changes to prevent cross contamination
- Maintain daily schedule to provide smooth flow into packaging / dispatch department
What do you need?
Preferably at least 2 years Powdercoating experience a great attitude, physical fitness, and a willingness to be part of the team.
Ideally, you'll also bring:- A proven track record of reliability and time management
- A strong eye for detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
