8 hours per week

For 40 years, Odyssey House Trust Christchurch has been working with clients affected by drug and alcohol addiction, mental health and related issues.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced part-time counsellor to work with adult clients and their partners/whānau from our residential and community services.

You will:

Have 2+ years of experience working with couples and whānau to help resolve relationship issues.
Have an understanding of the impact that substance abuse and mental health has on relationships and ways of navigating this.
Be part of our Aftercare team but also be able to work independently.
Need to manage your own diary.
Update notes in our client database.

Hours are flexible but must be able to meet the needs of clients within our services.
