    Elaman prides itself on a can-do attitude that is willing to do what it takes to deliver our projects successfully. As such, we may require you to respond to problems as they arise and be willing to get involved in a broad range of project related tasks, however your core duties will be:
    • Work closely with the development team to determine feasibility on potential projects
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers
    • Take ownership of preparation and pricing of schedule of quantities
    • Preparation of trade summaries including defined trade scope for tender
    • Compiling and issuing tender packages to subcontractors
    • Management of subcontractor agreements - payment claims, variation, valuation
    • Procurement
    • Management of Procore - project communication, payment certifications, project budget
    • Project management - value engineering, cost control,  attending PCGs and programme management
    • Assist with resource and building consent lodgements and close out
    • Prepare accurate financial reporting and forecasting
    • Other development tasks as required
    Lastly, we believe in giving people the opportunity to grow and develop in the areas they desire. As such we expect the role may grow and transition over time to encompass a broader range of development/project related tasks that reflects personal future ambitions.  However, to start, the following experience is required or highly beneficial:
    • 3+ years experience in medium or high density residential as a QS in New Zealand (non negotiable) 
    • University degree in construction or quantity surveying
    • CAT projects, Cost-X experience highly beneficial
