  • About Roof Safe Gutter Solutions

    We are a local and trusted company with over 28 years' experience in providing roofing maintenance & repairs, gutter cleaning, permanent gutter protection solutions and installing "at height" roofing safety systems for homeowners, property managers and body corporates throughout Otago and Southland. We are a small, family-run business now looking for a proactive and adaptable Personal Assistant to provide part-time support to our team.

    About the role

    This is a part-time (8-10 hours per week) position, offering flexible hours between Monday and Friday, 8am-5pm. The role is work-from-home, ideally based in Queenstown, though we're open to the right person elsewhere.

    Because of its flexibility, this position could suit a range of people, for example, working parents looking for a role that fits around family commitments.

    We're looking for someone who's organised, motivated, and takes initiative. Someone who wants to see the company succeed and is happy to adapt to changing priorities each week.

    What you'll be doing

    Your tasks will vary depending on business needs, but may include:
    • Xero entry, billing, invoicing, and processing monthly and GST payments
    • Payroll administration
    • Customer correspondence (phone and email)
    • Data entry and record keeping
    • Health and safety documentation
    • Ordering stock and supplies
    What You'll Need:
    • A background in administration or as a Personal Assistant
    • Working knowledge of Xero and ServiceM8 (essential)
    • Experience or familiarity with roofing or flashings (preferred but not essential)
    • Understanding of current health and safety systems (preferred but not essential)
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
    • A proactive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently
