Wayne Kirk Motor Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Consultant / Marketing Executive to join our growing Mitsubishi, Jeep and RAM team in Napier.
This is a rare opportunity to combine your passion for automotive sales with creative digital and social marketing in one dynamic role. You'll work alongside our Dealer Principal, who is actively involved in marketing and brand development, to help drive sales and maintain our strong presence both online and in the community.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based at our modern Napier dealership, covering a mix of front-line vehicle sales and marketing support. Your week will be a balance of customer-facing sales activity and digital marketing execution - from helping customers find their next new or used vehicle, to managing our online listings, social media, and local advertising.
You'll be responsible for:- Engaging with customers in-store, online, and via phone to understand their needs and match them to the right vehicle.
- Managing and updating Trade Me, company website, and stock listings.
- Assisting with social media content, photography, and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinating print and online marketing, promotions, and local press releases.
- Supporting the Dealer Principal with broader marketing initiatives and brand strategy.
This role operates seven days a week on a rostered basis, with one rostered day off during the week and every second weekend compulsory.
About You
We're looking for someone with:- A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a passion for customer service.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence using social media, digital tools, and basic design or content platforms.
- The ability to balance sales performance with creative marketing flair.
- A full NZ driver's licence.
Previous automotive sales or marketing experience is an advantage, but we're open to training the right person with the right attitude.
