Sage Doors is a Kiwi-family owned business; we pride ourselves on manufacturing the coolest cabinetry doors in NZ! We have an excellent opportunity to join our team on the North Shore, Auckland.
After 10 years at Sage Doors, the person currently in this role is leaving - she's having a baby! This role is a permanent, full-time position, and we are seeking a candidate with cabinetmaking industry experience to pick up where she's leaving to ensure a smooth transition for our customers.
The role includes:- Processing complex orders - technical details, non-stock materials, shaped parts, custom profiles etc.
- Ordering stock & non-stock board & edgetape from local suppliers
- Updating customers on their order status, as required
- Manually pricing non-stock materials, as required
- Checking job files are set correctly for the factory
- Processing complex grain matching requirements
- Editing orders, or supporting customers with technical questions while they're placing their orders online & helping them get the solution that they require
- Keeping track on custom orders as required to ensure they are sent correctly
- Processing & optimising orders for the factory
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to provide exceptional results and solutions to our customers (mostly cabinetmakers) all over New Zealand, and be:- Familiar with Cabinet Vision or other CAD software
- Very familiar with how a kitchen is assembled and installed
- Very familiar with a wide range of cabinetry materials in the industry
- Strong desire to support customers & provide solutions, while having a technical knowledge and background
This is a varied role which will involve supporting customers, doing general admin tasks, helping process orders & following up - it involves a lot of interaction with customers & the rest of the team, so a positive, can-do, upbeat attitude is a must! The successful candidate will have an outgoing personality and desire to provide exceptional service to our customers.
You'll probably come from a cabinetmaking, CAD detailing or kitchen design background, as well as:- Be based in or around North Shore, Auckland, or willing to commute daily
- Be experienced in a customer support role
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have strong communication skills
- Hold strong core values, including honesty
- Have outstanding personal presentation, in-person, email & phone
- Know how to navigate a computer quickly & learn new programs
- Love working with customers and making their day
- Be fluent in English (written and verbal)
