    We're looking for a practical, mechanically-savvy Service Technician to join our Auckland team based in East Tamaki.

    You'll be working with a wide range of machinery. From lathes and mills to fabrication and woodworking equipment - carrying out repairs, installations, servicing and more.

    This will include:
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
    • Install, test, and calibrate machinery for optimal performance
    • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of workshop equipment
    • Assist customers with machine setups and technical enquiries
    • Maintain service records and job documentation
    • Ensure all work is carried out safely and to Machineryhouse standards
    This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

    This is the perfect opportunity for:
    • Maintenance Fitters or Plant Mechanics
    • People with hands-on experience using or operating workshop machinery
    • Practical-minded individuals who enjoy working with their hands daily
    We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
    • 1-3 years of experience in machinery repair, maintenance, or fitting
    • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
    • Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
    • Good hands-on skills using standard tools and testing equipment
    • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
    • Full NZ driver's licence
    • Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
    • Excellent written and spoken English is essential
