Are you passionate about advancing clinical research and ensuring the highest standards in laboratory operations?
Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Trials Laboratory Technician to support our growing clinical trials portfolio.
About the Role
As a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, processing, tracking, and shipment of biological samples in accordance with sponsor protocols and ICH-GCP standards. You'll collaborate closely with investigators, coordinators, and clinical staff to ensure seamless study execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and Quality Check study kits and sample tubes
- Maintain laboratory documentation and trackers
- Monitor inventory and manage shipments
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners (Contract Research Organisations, Clinical Research Associates, labs)
- Support audits and inspections
- Perform basic sample processing and temperature monitoring
- Lead and mentor within the lab team, supporting training and development
What You'll Bring:- Tertiary qualification in Biomedical or Biological Sciences
- Current IATA certification
- 3-4 years' lab experience (non-clinical trial), plus 1+ year in clinical trial settings
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP standards
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
