    Join Tactical Solutions as a Measure and Fit Technician supporting the operational needs of New Zealand Police under our Body Armour System (BAS) Services Contract.

    This full-time position is based in our Auckland office and plays a critical role in delivering frontline and behind-the-scenes support to NZ Police officers nationwide.

    About the Role

    As part of our BAS Services team, you'll be the customer facing solution provider of Tactical Solutions, providing body armour measuring and fitting services to NZ Police Officers. Your role is pivotal in ensuring Tactical Solutions fulfils their contractual obligations, ensuring frontline staff are fitted correctly, adhering to required protection levels, and ensuring operational comfort.

    You'll operate across three key workstreams:
    • BAS Measure and Fitting Services
    • BAS Support Ticket Management
    • BAS Event Management
    Key Responsibilities:

    Measure and Fitting Services:
    • Take and record accurate officer measurements and fit body armour in accordance with the fitting standard.
    • Develop extensive knowledge of the body armour system, and the body armour fitting standard, and be able to communicate benefits and features of the system as well as care instructions to the end-users.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of all BAS processes from start to finish.
    Support Ticket Management:
    • Ensure a high level of accuracy and detail when recording officer information in our asset management system.
    Event Management:
    • Organise and manage our "in district" BAS Clinics, held within NZ Police stations all over the country.
    • Liaise with NZ Police Workforce Management to arrange officer appointment times.
    • Analyse officer issues to determine inventory requirements for clinics.
    • Coordinate with Tactical's warehouse staff to ensure required inventory is delivered to clinics within the requested timeframes.
    What You'll Bring

    We're looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You will need to be equally confident working independently and collaboratively across teams within Tactical. You'll also need to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels of NZ Police, both frontline and within management.

    Key Attributes:
    • Comfortable working in close physical proximity to clients while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
    • Demonstrate a professional manner over the phone and use professional language in email communications.
    • Be able to travel regularly around the country servicing NZ Police body armour requirements, sometimes with very little notice.
    • Maintain a positive and customer focused attitude.
