    We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and adaptable Linux Support Engineer to join our Christchurch-based team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving and enjoys bridging the gap between frontline support and development teams.

    In this role, you'll provide Level 2/3 support for both remote (IoT) devices and servers, taking ownership of complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 Support. You'll play a key part in keeping our systems running smoothly for our customers, working early hours to align with their operations. The hours of work will be from 6am - 2pm, as we provide support to our USA customers.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Supporting and maintaining Linux servers and IoT devices
    • Providing advanced troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues
    • Supporting custom Linux distributions based on Debian/Ubuntu for ARM64 using Yocto, APT, or similar.
    • Writing and maintaining scripts in Linux environments
    • Managing and configuring IoT and server environments
    • Collaborating with both Level 1 Support and Development teams to resolve escalations
    What we're looking for:
    • 3-5 years' relevant IT experience, ideally involving IoT hardware and software
    • Strong Linux expertise and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience with Linux Server support and maintenance
    • IoT server configuration and management skills
    • Working knowledge of dotNet
