    • For over 40 years, Odyssey House Trust Christchurch has been working with clients affected by drug and alcohol addiction, mental health and related issues. We focus on the wellbeing of individuals, family and community.

    We are looking for an experienced Alcohol and Other Drug Practitioner to join our friendly team working predominantly in assessing clients in the criminal justice system. ADAS work in Canterbury prisons, at Community Probation sites, at the Justice Precinct and in the community.

    You will complete alcohol and drug assessments, provide case management and facilitate group interventions to clients. You will need excellent organisational skills and the ability to be a team player.

    This is role works Monday - Friday, with one evening for group facilitation during the week required.

    The preferred applicant will hold a health related registration, AOD qualifications and have experience in AOD and/or mental health work.
