About Us:
Premium Portable Homes is a leading provider of prefabricated homes based in Ohoka, Christchurch. We specialize in the design and construction of high-quality, custom-built Portable buildings tailored to meet our clients' unique needs. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled SIPS Panel Installer to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Builder/Panel Installer with a background in building or construction. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience working with Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) and/or general building fit-off experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Installing SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panels) to a high standard.
- Assisting with the construction and fit-off of portable buildings.
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Working efficiently and autonomously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards.
Skills and Experience Required:- Proven experience in a building or construction role, preferably with SIPs installation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work unsupervised.
- High standards of professionalism, quality, and attention to detail.
- Own transport and tools.
- NZ Citizenship or Residency.
Work Schedule:- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Optional Saturday work available.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Compensation: An attractive hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
