    We have an opportunity available for an experienced and detail orientated Finance and Office Co-ordinator to join our team in Feilding.

    The role can be full time or part time with flexible hours between 20 - 40 hours per week for the right candidate.

    Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing and executing the core administrative and financial processes that support Biophive's operations. This role ensures that payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable are managed efficiently, accurately, and on time, enabling the business to run smoothly and maintain strong financial discipline.

    Key Duties include:
    • Payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable
    • Prepare and submit GST returns on time.
    • Ensure PAYE obligations are met in line with Inland Revenue requirements.
    • Provide administrative support to the General Manager and wider team as required.
    • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
    • Support the improvement of office systems and processes to drive efficiency.
    • Order and manage consumables required for the office and operations.
    • Manage the holding and dispatching of health certificates, a crucial part of Biophive's export business.
    Our successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:
    • Proven experience in payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
    • Strong knowledge of Xero (essential) and CIN7 (preferred).
    • Understanding of New Zealand GST and PAYE compliance requirements.
    • Familiarity with export documentation processes (preferred).
    • High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet with sensitive information.
    • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business.
    • Proactive and confident in resolving issues with staff, suppliers, and customers.
