We require a skilled Engineer with at least 2 years supervising experience, preferably with 5 years marine experience in machinery and installations on both new build and refit projects.
Successful applicant will report to the engineering supervisor and have duties which typically include:
Overseeing team of marine engineers.
New engineering installations - gearbox / exhaust / bow thrusters for example.
Fabrication and driveline components.
Component machining.
Pipe, tube and hose work.
Condition assessment and servicing of engineering components and systems.
Maintenance and/or installation of engine, driveline and steering systems.
Applicants should:
Ideally have 5 years' experience in the marine industry.
Have good communication skills in spoken and written English.
Own tools to perform the tasks required.
Work well in a team environment and be capable of self-managing tasks.
Be self-motivated and have a high standard of workmanship.
Currently reside in New Zealand and have NZ citizenship or residency.

The role is full-time offering a competitive market rate, overtime plus an annual tool allowance.
