    We are currently on a growth journey, and we have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer's Assistant to join our team and support our continued success.

    Working closely with our Chief Engineer and wider production team, you'll be involved in:
    • Assisting with machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Supporting the scheduling and completion of routine maintenance tasks.
    • Helping implement improvements to production processes and equipment.
    • Responding to day-to-day operational needs.
    • Providing accurate feedback and reporting to the engineering team.
    This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to learn and grow alongside a skilled and supportive team.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on team player with a "can-do" attitude. You don't need to be fully qualified - what matters most is your willingness to learn, work safely, and take pride in doing the job well.

    Ideal candidates will have:
    • Experience in a processing or manufacturing environment (advantageous, but not essential).
    • Mechanical aptitude or an interest in engineering/maintenance.
    • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
    • A commitment to working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
    • Physical fitness and reliability.
    • Forklift experience (helpful but not required).
    • A good eye for detail, strong teamwork, and positive attitude.
    To be considered for this position, you must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid NZ work visa.
