Christchurch Powder Coaters, the largest Powder Coating Facility within the South Island is growing! We are looking to expand our team by adding a new Packer / Jigger to our shop floor staff. Be part of an incredible team environment in a company with an excellent reputation.
Responsibilities are to include, but not limited to, packing of powder coated items in a way that surfaces do not get damaged, organisation of the inwards / outwards goods, serving and assisting customers, checking customers have the products they require, signing out dockets with customer signatures etc. pre-treatment, jigging, loading of the oven and filling out the oven record, cleaning of aluminium and metal before powder coating, and any other duty required to deliver a quality powder coating outcome for the customers of the business.
You'll also need:- Effective time management skills
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Capable of working quickly and efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality outcomes
- To be highly motivated, reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
As you'll be working in a high energy, fast paced environment - you'll need a good level of physical fitness and a motivated, can-do attitude.
This is a full time position and a competitive hourly rate is on offer aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
