    Doorpro 2020 Limited is a well-established pre-hung door company servicing residential and commercial properties in Hawkes Bay.

    We're hiring a skilled Joiner to join our growing team in a fast-paced door pre-hanging factory. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service with a friendly, solutions-focused approach.

    About the Role:

    As a Joiner, you'll play a key role in the assembly and pre-hanging of internal doors, bifolds, cavity doors, sliding doors, barn doors to name a few, ensuring quality and precision. This role also involves leading and training a small team, sharing your expertise while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Measuring, cutting, and assembling doors and frames
    • Reading technical drawings and specifications
    • Ensuring quality control and safe working practices
    What We're Looking For:
    • Proven experience in joinery and timber machining
    • Experience in door manufacturing or pre-hanging is a bonus
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a factory setting
    • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
    • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with an enthusiastic personality
    Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
    • Trade Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery (preferred but not essential in lieu of experience)
    • Good leadership and communication skills
    • A desire to broaden your knowledge and experience out in the field
    • Ability to read and interpret building site plans and specifications (not essential but favourable)
    • Physically able (some heavy lifting required).
    • Full Drivers Licence
    • Fluent English communication skills.
