    We are currently looking for an experienced, strategic, and hands on Warehouse Manager to join our growing team!

    You will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Auckland-based logistics facility. This includes full accountability for temperature-controlled and ambient storage zones, Customs Controlled Area (CCA) management, dangerous goods handling, inventory control, customer service, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) performance.

    This role demands a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. You'll be passionate about building high-performing teams, embedding a safety-first culture, & driving continuous improvement across all facets of warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage all operational activities across temperature-controlled and ambient zones, ensuring optimal product integrity, space utilization, and throughput.
    • Monitor environmental controls and cold chain compliance, ensuring consistent product quality and traceability.
    • Implement best-practice warehouse layouts and material flow strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce handling time.
    • Manage bonded warehouse operations in full compliance with MPI and customs regulations, liaising with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth inspections and operational continuity.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of bonded goods, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory transparency.
    • Ensure safe and compliant handling, storage, and transport of dangerous goods in accordance with HSNO and company protocols.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, implementing corrective actions and continuous training.
    • Champion the use of Carton Cloud (or similar WMS) to optimize warehouse workflows, inventory accuracy, and real-time visibility.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal team members through proactive communication, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
    • Oversee inventory processes across all zones, ensuring real-time accuracy and minimal loss, using data-driven forecasting and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
    • Build, lead and manage a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of ownership, respect, and continuous improvement. This includes championing a proactive safety culture, embedding H&S into daily operations and decision-making; ensuring adherence to SOPs, leading incident investigations and implementing preventative measures as well as training staff in WMS usage
    • Lead Lean Six Sigma, or similar CI initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction whilst staying abreast of industry trends and changes.
    What We're Looking For:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in 3PL warehouse operations, including temperature-controlled environments, CCA, and dangerous goods management.
    • Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
    • Strong working knowledge of MPI, customs, and DG handling regulations.
    • Proficiency in WMS platforms (Carton Cloud preferred) and inventory control systems.
    • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and achieving operational KPIs.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
