We're looking for a Garden Care Team Leader who's keen to step up, manage a small crew, and help drive the growth of our business.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the front, build lasting client relationships, and shape a team that delivers outstanding garden care. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and inspire the maintenance of beautiful gardens, ensuring our clients' properties are their pride and joy.
- Assess and develop efficient business processes.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships.
- Manage and support a skilled team, ensuring they are highly trained and have the tools and support to complete tasks to the highest standards.
- Oversee and coordinate the scheduling of multiple maintenance jobs across various client sites, ensuring efficiency and timely completion.
- Actively seek new opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both clients and internal teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed about requirements, timelines, budgets, and expectations.
- Ensure accurate records of completed work, manage invoicing, and track the status of ongoing maintenance services.
- Work alongside the owner to grow and develop the garden care team and client base.
We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities at once. If you have a strong background in garden maintenance, have experience leading teams, and enjoy fostering long-lasting client relationships, this is the role for you.
Qualifications:- Solid experience in garden maintenance, with proven leadership capabilities.
- A strong skillset in horticulture and a premium understanding of plant care and maintenance practices.
- The ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate multiple jobs and teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience in business development and securing new maintenance prospects.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address any client issues and team challenges proactively.
