  • Odyssey House has been operating within Canterbury for nearly 40 years. Our Mission is 'to improve well being for those affected by addiction and mental health', and we continue to grow across residential, prison and community services. As a growing team, working with over 7000 people each year, we need a Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator to support our marketing collateral, event management, Facebook and communications.

    In this role, you will:
    • Write and prepare collateral including articles, internal newsletters, brochures, media releases and posters.
    • Coordinate with the running of Odyssey events.
    • Interview people to develop a range of narratives.
    • Create and monitor our social media posts and website content.
    • Enhance documents (using Word and Powerpoint) for internal and external audiences
    To be successful in this role, you will:
    • Be a person who rolls their sleeves up to get on with the job
    • Have a digital graphics or communications background
    • Want to be a part of our community and support the team in a myriad of ways
    • Have an eye for detail, both graphics and text
    • Be a capable and experienced user of Microsoft Suite including Word, Sharepoint and Powerpoint
