    • Protection Security Systems are currently looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team starting ASAP.

    Duties will include, but are not limited to:
    • Installing, servicing and maintaining security systems
    • Testing and repairing circuits and sensors
    • Examining systems to ensure proper functioning and to diagnose malfunctions
    • Customer service and satisfaction, including demonstrations of systems
    • Sales/system design and consulting on occasion
    • Monitoring van stock and ordering replacement stock as required
    • From time to time to be responsible for other employees onsite
    • Managing and reporting on projects
    Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn, have great problem-solving abilities and at least 1 year's experience as a technician installing CCTV, access controls and alarms. Opportunities are available to move up into senior roles.

    You'll also need:
    • A Full driver's license with a clean driving record
    • A clean criminal record
    • Proficient computer skills
    • A strong desire to improve knowledge
    • Customer focus and excellent communication skills
    • To be willing to work out of Auckland
    • The ability to work at heights
    • The ability to be flexible with your hours and work overtime
