About the role:
This newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead a diverse team of 13 across Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Systems/Support, and Warehousing. You'll be instrumental in executing our growth strategy and helping evolve our commercial operations.
We're seeking someone who's both a "safe pair of hands" and a change champion, energetic, results-focused, and ready to take on a wide variety of tasks.
Key responsibilities:
The role with have responsibility for Finance, Procurement, Systems and Support and Warehousing:- Lead the various teams to achieve their business KPIs and maximize their potential
- Monthly reporting of Financials, Budgets and Forecasting and Cashflow
- Management of Stock including freight related matters
- Supply chain management including strategic supplier reviews
- Assist with developing and executing a market strategy to support growth
- Leverage of existing software recently implemented and introduce new software where appropriate
- Build strong relationships with external partners (accountants, bankers, suppliers, freight consultants)
Our successful applicant will have:- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or related discipline
- CA qualification preferred but not essential
- 5+ years in a senior commercial role
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Collaborate with multiple teams to help deliver projects
- Strong multitasking ability and software proficiency
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
